Some of you may or may not know but I love boudoir. I set up an Instagram account for my work @ohboudior_bymariel and I think that is one of the best 2021 moves I've made so far because it allowed me to reconnect to this girl right here. Sara and I haven't seen each other in a few years and was one of the first ladies to follow my new account and ask for a session. We met when we were babies in college and worked together at the off campus bookstore. There were so many good times to catch up on and catch up on some mutual friends. What I loved about Sara is just how gorgeous she is inside and out - always helping others! She works at the social services department which is a thankless job and stressful I am sure.

What I enjoyed when Sara inquired is that she said she had gained weight. When you are in the business of women taking their clothes off that is something I rarely hear. But I want to hear that more! You don't have to be whatever number on the scale or size of clothes to do a shoot. Self-love is often so hard but I strive to make sure you feel like you and that you love your images. I edit for color and exposure to match my style but keep all those dimples and wrinkles where they are because they are YOU!
