This wedding day was 20 years in the making for Jamilee & Rich! They found each other again after years apart and other relationships and I love that type of love story! It doesn't matter where life takes you as long as you make it back to your person. This couple you may remember from their Harkness Memorial engagement shoot and I loved driving back to Waterford to shoot at Great Neck Country Club.
The weather wasn't as sticky as their engagement photos and we had some beautiful portrait time out on the green. The color scheme of pinks and blues was perfect! And if you think you are seeing double, the groom is a twin! Had to make sure my associate and I were photographing the right person but the custom suit really was the kicker.
Arriving at Jamie's MOH's house was full of energy and I felt the love from the women surrounding her. There were so many cell phones photos being taken and I was introduced to everyone in the room. It was really great to feel included. Jamilee's dress was just as I suspected to show off her amazing figure and I love the lace and bling.
This wedding day was also a big party full of family (the FOB really got down) and tons of laughter. The bride even got out of her dress and danced away in her everyday comfy clothes... she strutted over to Rich and said "Hey I know you love me like this" and he 100% agreed.
These two are enjoying the sun in St. Lucia and I am so happy to share some of my favorites from the day!
All smiles,
Mariel
