Heather and Chris have been together 14 years and have waited a long time to make it "official."  The bride got in touch with me last year for an fall wedding but decided spring is just as perfect. This couple from Ohio really welcomed me into their lives and it was a pleasure to capture. The intimacy of less than 10 people really made it all about their love and family. Nothing else is needed.

I drove up to Litchfield county - Lakeville to be exact and the Interlaken Inn. Just the drive alone was scenic and calming. When I arrived I was sent down to the lakefront cottage where I met Chris, putting the final details together. His bride was getting ready inside and he insisted on not seeing her until the ceremony which was sweet considering their history.

Heather is an author and historian & Chris a graphic designer and have a son Tommy who was his best man. It was a simple intimate ceremony with a great lake view. Thanks for having me you two! Much joy & continued happiness!
