Autumn weddings in New England is what we live for in this industry. It's the busiest time of the year because everyone wants those colors to make their images pop! Christa and Ryan had that great day with sun, some clouds and a bit of heat! Starting the day at the bride's childhood home was just perfectly casual. All the ladies were outside putting those final touches on makeup and hair. I was welcomed in and love the family photos around the home and know the value of these memories I was about to capture.
There wasn't a first look for this couple which was something I really enjoyed because Ryan showed all the emotion at the alter seeing his future wife walk down the aisle. These two met in their childhood but made it official in high school and have spent many milestones together. What I loved about the reception was their first dance to Death Cab for Cutie's "Stay Young Go Dancing." It was sweet and fitting for their romance.
The colors really showed up for their portraits and wedding party photos! The burgundy and blush combination are always a good choice and the florals from Big Y were perfect. I definitely recommend to couples on a budget to consider store florals - they can be quite impressive and fit the vision of the day. I want to thank my second photographer, Margit who made awesome suggestions on posing and took charge wrangling family (which is usually stressful).
Thanks for letting me celebrate with you Christa and Ryan and I wish you many years of happiness!
Smiles,
Mariel
