So if you aren't a photographer you must be wondering flay lay fun? What is that? Well this is when your photographer lays out all the pretty details that you've carefully chosen for your wedding day. There are shoes, perfume, watches, invitation suites, heirloom jewelry, the list goes on and on! My goal with capturing these details is playing a part in storytelling your complete day. I ordered some samples from Minted (which have great prices if you ask me) and decided to do some practice! I did also throw in some of my favorite suites from real weddings that I think demonstrated everything well.
So since I've been taking a lot of education I've learned some tricks to make any suite look high end. I am using lines, a softener and dots/3-D element. Something that is considered a dot could be your rings and ring boxes; something to "speckle" the image and fill in space. Softeners are things like petals, twigs or shoes even a veil and heirloom items -- anything that can detract from the harsh lines of the invitations.
