The delicate lace design and bright pop of blues, yellows and white really kicked off this Mediterranean inspired wedding day (with a touch of the fourth/force) at the Simsbury Inn. Emily and Eddy are the sweetest and the joining of their families and seeing the love around them was the perfect way to start this year's wedding season.
Emily was so organized with her details as I started the day that it made things run smoothly from the start. As Emily got buttoned up into her dress the nerves and emotion hit and I remember the feeling all too well from my own wedding day. It's all that you planned and the moment is here and you want to take it all in. She was about to see her groom! It wouldn't be the first time emotions came - during the daddy/daughter first look, the laughs between her and Eddy, after the ceremony seeing the guests smiling at them with pure joy.
The newlywed recessional down the aisle is one of my favorite parts of the wedding day and Emily and Eddy did something so different and danced all the way down. It was so fun and gave me a glimmer of the party to come. Emily and Eddy has great energy and the reception was amazing! All the hard work and it was party time - and they did!
Enjoy some favorites...there are so many more to come!
All smiles,
Mariel
